Network Interfaces

• Equipped with four Ethernet ports: two for Modbus TCP or EtherNet/IP, and two for PROFINET.

• Independent IP address configuration for each network segment.

PROFINET Features

• Supports standard PROFINET RT and IRT protocols.
• Supports PROFINET MRP and System Redundancy (S2).
• Supports up to 32 slots on the PROFINET side, with a maximum of 1440 input bytes and 1440 output bytes (actual usable length depends on PLC and PDU size of the communication module).

• Vendor Code is configurable.

Modbus TCP Features

• Supports byte swapping options: No swap, 2-byte swap, and 4-byte swap.
• Supports custom server port numbers; the default port is 502.

Modbus TCP Client Features

• Connects to up to 72 Modbus TCP servers.
• Supported function codes: 0x01, 0x02, 0x03, 0x04, 0x05, 0x06, 0x0F, 0x10, 0x17.
• Supports up to 300 Modbus commands.
• Command output modes: Cyclic, Disabled, Change-of-Value, and Control Word Trigger.

Modbus TCP Server Features

• Handles up to 72 TCP client connections.
• Supported function codes: 0x01, 0x02, 0x03, 0x04, 0x05, 0x06, 0x0F, 0x10, 0x17.
